"The library's ultimate promise and purpose is to link Eddy's ideas both to the present and to the future. These ideas were revolutionary not only in her day, but continue to challenge thinkers in the 21st century. Scientists are now confirming the link between spirituality and health that Eddy first postulated in the 1870s. In founding The Christian Science Monitor, she established principles of objectivity and integrity that have served and continue to serve as a model for good journalism."
